Lecturer / Director of Education

Principal Investigator of JSPS KAKENHI Research Projects

Department of Artificial Intelligence and Medical Science
Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine

I am currently a Lecturer at Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine and a Principal Investigator of competitively funded JSPS KAKENHI research projects. KAKENHI project 25K15335 was awarded while I was affiliated with RIKEN, my former institution; I subsequently moved to Tohoku University and continue to lead the project as Principal Investigator. My research focuses on medical artificial intelligence and biomedical informatics, including the integration of clinical data, medical images, pathology, and molecular information for biomedical discovery and next-generation medicine.
